The secret for positive training

When looking for a new gym a few of the things you may be looking for is things like cleanliness, nice machines, showers etc. But have you thought about looking for "community"?


At Sun City, we're more than just a gym. We are a community. Working out within a community carries a ton of proven benefits that include enhancing consistency, duration, motivation, conversation and inspiration. Workouts with others improve consistency because it requires a commitment. ‘No shows’ and cancellations get noticed by others and positive peer pressure can help curtail the urges to skip a workout … or quit.


One study found that 95 percent of those who started a weight-loss program with friends completed the program, compared to a 76 percent completion rate for those who did the program alone.
